Anse des Cayes

For this new villa set into the rock, we conceived the interiors as a natural extension of their Caribbean surroundings.

The heart of the house is a warm living space that opens onto the outdoors and a generous terrace sheltered by an ajoupa, a distinctive element of Caribbean architecture. Designed for seasonal stays, the villa brings together two suites, a studio and a gym, with close attention to comfort and the natural flow of daily life.

From materials to decoration, the palette draws from the Caribbean setting. Every material was carefully selected to meet the demands of a tropical climate, intense light and seasonal rental use. Greens, blues and browns shift from room to room, echoing the ocean, vegetation and surrounding rock. Natural materials and a pared-back approach allow the architecture and its mineral setting to take centre stage.

In the decoration, we looked for a warm minimalism: simple lines and few elements, each carefully chosen to let the volumes and light breathe.

A project where restraint meets materiality, designed to sit naturally within its setting and offer an experience that feels both effortless and deeply Caribbean.
